VINITA—Services for Mitchell Thomas Foster, 54-year-old
Craig countyan who was killed Friday night in a train-truck
collision near Wichita, were Tuesday in the Methodist church
in Ketchum.
Foster, who had lived around Ketchum five years, went to
work in Wichita for the Eby Construction Co. as a truck
driver a month ago.
Survivors include his wife, Veda; five daughters, Marietta
and Betty, both of the home, route 3, Vinita; Mrs. Bennie
Peva, Oakland, Calif.; Mrs. Lula Mae Lee and Mrs. Trissie P.
Foster, both of Tulare, Calif.; his mother, Mrs. Martha
Foster, Eufaula; three sisters, Mrs. Nerva Montgomery,
Eufala; Mrs. Lizzie Campbell, Oakland, Calif., and Mrs.
Marguerite Cook, Checotah; and six brothers, Talmadge,
Eufala; Orville, Shafter, Calif.; Frank, Parville, Calif.;
Jeff, Campura Creek, Calif.; Elmer, Wagoner, and Lum,
Bakersfield, Calif.
