BLUEJACKET—Services for LaSalle Holden, 88, 50-year resident
of Bluejacket who died Saturday after an illness of several
months, were Tuesday in the Methodist church, Bluejacket.
Holden, a native of Illinois, had resided more than 50 years
in Bluejacket where he formerly operated a hardware and
grocery business. He was an active member of the Methodist
church.
Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. J.H. Bluejacket,
Bluejacket, and Mrs. George Hanley, Miami; one son, Fred,
Bluejacket; two brothers, Ira Holden, Murphyboro, Ill., and
Guy Holden, Bluejacket; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Cornwell,
Topeka, and Mrs. Bob Badon, San Fernando, Calif.; eight
grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
