VINITA—Services for Mrs. Elsie Ardena Goodson, 33, who died
early Wednesday in the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
William Ellick, route 4, Vinita, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday
in the First Baptist church, Chelsea. Burial will be in the
Lewis Shawnee cemetery west of White Oak.
Mrs. Goodson, who had been in ill health because of a heart
ailment, was the wife of Gerald Goodson. Their home was
seven miles southwest of White Oak.
Mrs. Goodosn was born March 17, 1921, in Chelsea and had
resided her entire lifetime in the Chelsea and White Oak
communities.
Survivors, in addition to her husband and her parents,
include: two daughters, Roberta and Cheri Goodson; five
sons, Elton, Ralph, Dwight, Jackie and Levi Goodson, all of
the home; two sisters, Mrs. Marjorie Paris, route 1, Adair,
and Miss Agnes Ellick of the parents’ home; two brothers,
Henry Ellick, Quapaw, and Wilbur Ellick, North Miami; and
her grandmother, Mrs. Julia Dick, route 4 Vinita.
