VINITA, Jan. 4—Services for David Marion Moody, 60-year-old
Vinita taxi company operator who was killed instantly Sunday
when his car was struck by an MKT railroad freight train
here, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Luginbuel
Brothers funeral home chapel.
Moody, born in Leavenworth, Kan., was a veteran of World war
I, serving in France as a private in the infantry. He
formerly was employed in local meat markets and operated a
café here for a short time before recently purchasing the
taxi company.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Vesta P. Moody of the home;
and one sister, Mrs. Alta Gossar, Clarinda, Iowa.
