WELCH, Jan. 20—Services for Fred Goad, 68, who died
Wednesday in his home here after a long illness will be at 2
p.m. Friday in the First Christian church.
Goad, a retired farmer, had lived in Craig county since he
was two years old. He had resided in Welch the past 22
years. He was a member of the First Christian church.
Survivors include his wife, Maranda; three daughters, Mrs.
C.D. Cooper, Parsons, Kan.; Mrs. Ivan Green, Erie, Kan., and
Mrs. Marvin Stoker, Wichita; one son, Howard L. Goad,
Junction City, Kan.; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Smith and Mrs.
Rose Nicklett, both of Wichita, and Mrs. Ophelia Horn,
Parsons, three brothers, Norman, Chelsea; Edgar, Tulsa, and
Alvin, Alberta, Canada; and 12 grandchildren.
