MRS. ETHEL I. HOLDEN
VINITA—Services for Mrs. Ethel Irene Holden, 71-year-old
Vinitan who died early Monday in a local hospital after a
long illness, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Methodist
church, Bluejacket.
Mrs. Holden, a resident of Craig county since 1900, was a
member of the Methodist church in Bluejacket. She was the
widow of Watt E. Holden. Mrs. Holden, born in Cedar county,
Mo., had lived in Craig county since 1900 and in Vinita
since 1942.
Survivors include: one son, Glenn, Wichita; one daughter,
Mrs. Melvin Tilbury, Vinita; three sisters, Mrs. Jessie
Giles, Vinita; Mrs. Fred Lacey, Vinita, and Mrs. Christie
Fields, Coffeyville, Kan.; two brothers, M.L. Reed, Orange,
Calif.; and Earl Reed, Virgil, Kan.; and five grandchildren.
