VINITA, Nov. 29—Services for Mrs. Nancy Kathryn Clapper,
90-year-old longtime Craig countian who died Saturday after
a long illness, were Tuesday in Luginbuel Brothers funeral
chapel. Burial was in Fairview cemetery.
Mrs. Clapper was the widow of W.W. Clapper, pioneer county
rancher who helped lay out the Centralia townsite. He died
in the early 1900’s.
Mrs. Clapper, born in Nashville, Tenn., was a member of the
Methodist church.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Zella Clapper, Vinita,
one son, Gus M. Clapper, Strang; and one sister, Mrs. Dona
DeCow, Chetopa, Kan.
