VINITA—Services will be announced by Luginbuel Brothers
funeral home for E.F. “Chub” Heller, 53, Vinita city
councilman and state highway department employe, who died
unexpectedly Thursday in a Vinita hospital.
Heller, who had been in ill health several years, suffered a
cerebral hemorrhage while at work and died an hour later in
the hospital.
He was born in Prescott, Kan., and had been a resident of
Vinita 29 years. He was a road inspector for the state
highway department.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl; two daughters, Mrs. Sue
Willa Sims, Tahlequah; Mrs. Twila Jean McCullough, Los
Angeles; two brothers, Earl, Richmond, Calif.; Nelson, Fort
Scott, Kan.; his mother, Mrs. Joe Lightwine, Fort Scott and
two grandchildren.
