VINITA—Services will be Tuesday in Hugo for Rev. Henry
Warren Young, 61, pastor of the Baptist church in Disney. He
died Saturday in his home in Disney. Death was attributed to
a heart ailment.
Mr. Young, who was born in Hot Springs, Ark., had been an
ordained minister for 20 years. He had served as a Baptist
pastor in Oklahoma City, Ardmore, Mount Pleasant, Texas, and
Valliant, Okla.
He assumed the pastorate in Disney 18 months ago.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Grace Young of the home;
six daughters, Mrs. Norma Mikel, Atlanta, Ga.; Mrs. Mable
Allega, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Lucille Kennedy and Mrs. Mona
Archibald, both of Garland, Texas, and Mrs. Barbara Askew
and Mrs. Helen Aste, both of Hugo; one sister, Mrs. G.T.
Thompson, Shawnee, and 15 grandchildren.
