Velma Irene Haulum Ackerman, 87, rural Sapulpa, died Monday, July 31, 1995 at Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa.

Graveside rites will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Kellyville Cemetery, directed by Owen Funeral Home.

She was born June 6, 1908 at Crocker, MO to Charlie and Valona Zunwalt.

She married LeRoy Ackerman in Michigan in 1953.

She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Haulum, and daughters Charlene Birckel and Dorothy Haulum.

Survivors include her husband, LeRoy of the home; a daughter, Doris Dimmitt, Kellyville; four sisters, Anna Lucas, Zeda Smith and Evelyn Boren, all of Sapulpa, and Rozine Jordan, California; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

The family will headquarter at 946 S. Spruce, Kellyville.
