Sapulpa Herald
Sapulpa, Oklahoma
November 26, 2003
Julia Pauline Abner Adams, 76, formerly
of Sapulpa, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2003 in Greenwood, S.C.
She was born July 10, 1927 in Bristow where she met and married
Cloe D. Abner. They moved to Sapulpa, where they raised their
three children, Danny Abnet, now of Supply, N.C., Pam Favaro, of
Terlton, and Paul Abner, of Oklahoma City.
Pauline was a longtime employee of TG&Y and longtime member of
the Sapulpa Church of the Nazarene. In 1974, her husband, Cloe,
was killed in an accident, and one year later she married Jim
Adams and moved to South Carolina, where she lived until her
death.
Those are the facts, but the heart of her story is that she
loved God and his light continually shined through her.
She accepted Jesus into her life at a young age and lived a life
of love, service and influence. While attending the Nazarene
church she was caravan leader, VBS director, Choir member and
Sunday school teacher.
She touched the lives of many with her loving spirit and
infectious sense of humor. The world is a better place because
of her time here. While we miss her, heaven was what she dreamed
of and lived for, and today she enjoys the blessing of life with
her Savior.
Services and burial will be today at Greenwood, S.C. at Hyde
Park Baptist Church.
Blythe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Complied and transcribed by Zoey Fryhover, 2009.
