William Earnest Adams, 76, Route 1, died Tuesday at Saint Francis Hospital, Tulsa.

Services will be 2 pm Thursday at the First Church of God with the Rev. Tommy Dove officiating.

Burial will be at Green Hill Memorial Gardens under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

He was born Feb 15, 1914, in Braggs, and moved to Sapulpa at age 14.

He married Irman Cummings on June 17, 1933.

Mr. Adams retired from Bartlett Collins Glass after 49 years. He also was a farmer and rancher and was an active member of the First Church of God for several years.

Survivors include wife Irma; sons Fred Adams and Bill Adams Jr., both of Sapulpa, and Clyde Adams of Tulsa; daughters Peggy Bailey of Sapulpa and Carla Lane of Ponca City; brother Troy Adams of Hayward, Calif.; sister Darlene Ruth of Mantica, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
