TULSA MAN DIES IN AREA CRASH

A 25 year-old Tulsa man was killed early this morning in a two-car collision at a Creek County intersection, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

Allan A. Adkins was dead at the scene of the accident shortly after midnight on State Highway 48 two miles south of Bristow, troopers said.

Adkins was driving a car that failed to stop at a stop sign and struck another car broadside, troopers said.

The driver of the other car, Isaac Vincent Mason, 29, of Bristow, was in good condition at a Bristow hospital.

Neither man was wearing a seat belt, troopers said.

Allan Ashford Adkins, 25, of Tulsa, died Monday in Bristow.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Friday at the Choska Methodist Church.

Burial is to follow in the Adkins Family Cemetery under the direction of Hutchins-Maples Funeral Home.

Adkins was born March 27, 1969 in Norwalk, Calif. He attended Bristow schools.

Survivors include mother Marquel Bigpond Adkins and father Donald R. Adkins, both of Bristow; brothers Michael Adkins, Kelly Ray Adkins and Donald Anderson Adkins, all of Bristow,; and sisters Donna Ray Shepard of Indiana and Phyllis Diane Villaneuas of California.
