Services were today for Mr. Everett Allen, 89, of Route 6, who died Tuesday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Services were at Mahn Funeral Chapel, DeSoto, MO with the Rev. Steve Mounts officiating.

Burial was at Laurel Hills Cemetery in St. Louis, MO under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

He was born March 15, 1898 in Lebanon, MO and was employed as a painter before retirement.

Mr. Allen was a member of the Nazarene Church.

Survivors include sons Harley (Red) of Sapulpa, Hershel of Charlottesville, VA and Robert of Jacksonville, Fla.; sisters Elsie Gillispie of California and Esther Romine of Indiana; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
