Harry Clifford Allen, 81, of Sapulpa, died Sunday, Dec 10, 2000, at St. John Sapulpa.

Mr. Allen was born Jan 18, 1919 in Big Creek, AR to Orrin and Minnie Chrisman Allen. He married Willie Ruth Johnston on Nov 30, 1940 in Jonesborough, AR. He and his wife moved to Sapulpa from Arkansas about 51 years ago.

He was a retired truck driver for the Consolidated Freightways Trucking Co. in Tulsa. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He attended the Church of the Nazarene in Sapulpa.

He is survived by his wife, Willie of the home; a son, William R. Allen of Kellyville; four daughters, Jeanette Burch of Phoenix, Ariz., Mary Ann Riner of Broken Arrow, Linda Carriger of Coweta and Patti Gee of Santa Anna, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services have been set for 2 pm Monday, Dec 18, 2000, at Owen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Steve Davis officiating.

Interment will be at Green Hill Cemetery in Sapulpa. Owen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
