1949Mrs. Anderson Oilton Funeral Will Be Today
OILTON. June 16-(Special)-Services will be at 2:30 pm Friday
in the Baptist church here for Mrs. Margaret Anderson, 86. who
died Tuesday of pneumonia in Yale hospital. Burial will be in
Oilton.
Mrs. Anderson. a native of Missouri, came to Waynoka in 1900,
homesteading a quarter section. After proving out she and her
husband sold and moved to Buffalo where they lived for several
years. They came to Oilton 30 years ago.
Mr. Anderson is a retired farmer. They have six children, 26
grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
One of the grandsons, Virgil Anderson, is mayor of Drumright.
She is survived by her husband, James; three sons, James and
Harve, both of Oilton, and William, Porterville, Calif.; three
daughters, Mrs. Mamie Brooks, Inglewood, Kan.; Mrs. Minnie
Perry. Caney, Man., and Mrs. Josh!, Sable, Cleveland, Okla.
They had a family reunion with all of the children and nearly
all of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren on their 65th
wedding anniversary on last Thanksgiving day.
