Updated: 06 Sep 2009 ARMSTRONG, Lois B. Lois B. Armstrong, 85, of Mobile, Alabama, died Sunday in Mobile. She is a former resident of Coal Hill, Arkansas. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm, Friday, at United Methodist Church in Coal Hill, Arkansas. Burial will follow in Coal Hill Cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home in Clarksville, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin D. Armstrong. She was the daughter of the late Mitchell and Edna Hurtt King. Survivors include daughters, Patsy Haney of Mobile, Alabama, and Willene Tillie of Carlsbad, California; sons, Charles Armstrong of Carlsbad, Calif., Bill Armstrong of Sapulpa; and Ronnie Armstrong, formerly of Coal Hill; sisters, Lorene Laster of Coal Hill, Arkansas, and Lucille Lumpkin of Sour Lake, Texas; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Casketbearers will be Edsel Williams, Howell D. Giffin, Bentley Yates, Bootie Lowe, Dee Yates, and Rodney Haney. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday at Hardwicke Funeral Home. |
