ASHLOCK, Eldon Perry

Eldon Perry Ashlock, 54, of Bristow, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 1995 at his home.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Garden Heights Free Will Baptist Church in Prattville with the Rev. Doyle Baker officiating. Burial will be in Green Hills Memorial Gardens, directed by Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Ashlock was born April 8, 1941 in Okmulgee. He moved from Sapulpa to the Bristow-Olive area 19 years ago.

He worked for the Sapulpa School System as a bus driver and had been an aircraft mechanic for McDonald Douglas. He was a member of the Garden Heights Free Will Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, DeeAnn, of the home; two sons, Gary Ray Ashlock of Sapulpa, and Raymond Dale Ashlock of Kellyville; a daughter, Lorie Conkling of Bristow; his parents, Richard Perry Ashlock of Sapulpa, and Minnie Williams of Okmulgee;

Four brothers, Pete Williams of Morris, Leon Ashlock of Schulter, Melvin Ashlock of Sapulpa, and Butchy Ashlock of Henryetta;

Two sisters, Gwen Oliver of Kansas and Sharon Crawford of Okmulgee; three half-sisters, Carolyn Davis of Bristow, Marilyn Schill and Karren, both of Sapulpa; and three grandchildren.

Sapulpa veterans groups provided full military service at the grave.

Casket bearers were Dempsey Lister, Fred Dunback, Lonnie Cargill, Gus McCain, Bill Conkling and Lee Harrison. Honorary bearers were George Finer and Wayne Dennis.
