Updated: 06 Sep 2009 BACKLUND, Dorothy Dorothy Hollingshad Backlund, 70, of Kellyville, died June 20 in Torrance, California. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday in Torrance. She was a 1939 graduate of Sapulpa High School and served in the Women’s Army Corps for three years in California. She was retired from the US Post Office in Torrance and moved to Kellyville in 1985. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard, in 1970. Survivors include sons Bruce and Robert Backlund, both of Torrance; brothers William Leon and George Leroy Hollingshad, both of Kellyville and four grandchildren. |
