Elliott George Baker Sr., 76, Route 2 in Sapulpa, died Tuesday at Tulsa Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Saturday at Pickett Prairie Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Oldham officiating.

Burial is to follow in the Baker family cemetery in Kellyville under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Baker was born Sep 4, 1917 in Sapulpa and was a Sapulpa area resident all of his life. He was a retired steamfitter and a Methodist. He was also a member of the Steamfitters Union.

Survivors include wife Wanda of the home; sons bill and David, both of California, Dennis of Greensboror, N. C., George Jr. of Sapulpa and Michael of Muskogee; daughters Jackie Rivett, Melissa Johnson and Kim Mehlhorn, all of Sapulpa, Sharon Barzellone of Liberty Mounds, Robyn Kiddy of Dallas, Texas, Penny Hill of Glenpool, JoAnn Ivens of Center Point, Ore. and JoLyn Kapetanakis of Pennsylvania; brother Raymond Douglas of Sapulpa; sister Melinda Tuttle of Sapulpa; and numerous grandchildren.

Funeral services for Elliott George Baker were to be held at 2 pm Saturday in the Pickett Prairie Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Oldham officiating.

Interment was to follow in the Baker family cemetery in Kellyville under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Serving as casket bearers were Tim Barzellone, Craig Hill, Cooper Kiddy, Sam Rivett, Jay Armitage and Lance Mehlhorn;.

Honorary bearers were Tom Johnson and Greg Johnson.

Baker, a life-long Sapulpa resident, died Tuesday in Tulsa.
