GLENCOE — Ray Baker, 84, Glencoe, died Thursday at Rosewood Manor Nursing Home in Stillwater after a short illness.

Services were today at the Church of Christ in Glencoe. Burial followed at Glencoe North Cemetery under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home of Pawnee.

Mr. Baker was born Sep 28, 1905. He worked for Baker’s Dried Goods store and owned it from 1948 to 1986. He married Lucy Ollinghouse in 1929.

Survivors include wife Lucy Baker; son Jerry Baker of Wichita, Kan.; daughter Mrs. Kenneth (Betty) Applegate of Sapulpa; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
