Mr. Junior Edward Ballinger, 62, Route 2, died Saturday at City of Faith Hospital, Tulsa.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Ted Carr and Jack Carner officiating.

Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Gardens.

Casket bearers will be John Carr, Rick Carr, Bud Lancaster, Junior Rowell, Larry Crow and Alan Ballinger. Honorary bearers will be Paul Call, Dean Moss, Mike Thrasher, Terry Moss, Darrell Crow and Charley Brown.

The American Legion will conduct full military rites.

He was born Oct 14, 1924 in Olive and had lived in the Sapulpa area all his life.

Mr. Ballinger was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy, a retired heavy equipment operator for the City of Sapulpa and a member of the Church of God.

Survivors include wife Dora; sons Ronald of Fort Hood, Texas, and Gilbert of Sapulpa; daughters Vonda Hays of Tulsa, Sheila Kissee of Bristow and Angela Ballinger of Sapulpa; step-daughters Rhonda Buzzard of Sapulpa, Rhenda Rowell of Sapulpa and Rhema Graves of Austin, Texas; sisters Dollie Williams of Glenpool and Minnie Crow of Locust Grove, Okla.; and nine grandchildren.

The family will headquarter at 108 S. Linden.
