Katherine D. (Katie) Bass, 88, 11740 Lakeside Drive, died Monday at Ranch Terrace Nursing Home.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10:30 am Thursday at South Heights Cemetery with the Rev. David Houchin officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

She was born Feb 3, 1903, in Medford. She moved to Sapulpa from Woodward with her husband, Elmer J. Bass, in 1972.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Sapulpa. Mrs. Bass was an avid gardener and seamstress and was a very good cook.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1979.

Survivors include son Jack Bass of Sapulpa; sisters Maxine Schmidt of Vallejo, Calif., Virginia Hansen of Hooker, and Marge Fast of Liberal, Kan.

Graveside services for Katherine D. (Katie) Bass were held today in South Heights Cemetery with the Rev. Vance D. Howard officiating.
