Clayton Baughman, 73, died Saturday, March 4, 1995 in Tulsa.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Grace Church in Glenpool, with Bob Thomas officiating. Leonard and Marker Funeral Home will direct burial in Bixby Cemetery.

He was born July 18, 1921 in Glenpool to Peter B. and Cordellia Jones Baughman.

He married Mildred F. Hughes on Feb. 21, 1940 in Mounds.

He was a retired truck driver with the Tulsa County Highway Department.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred, of the home; four daughters, Helen Anson, Sapulpa, Norma Jean McCall, Glenpool, Barbara Snow, Kiefer, and Delores Harper, Tulsa; four sons, Clinton Baughman and Jerry Baughman, both of Sapulpa, Frank Baughman, Kiefer, and Leon Powall, Lake Crest; a sister Odia Shobe, Glenpool; a brother, Mark Baughman, Fayetteville, AR; 15 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Marietta Pilant, on Aug. 8, 1994; three sisters, Mildred Powell, Dorothy McCullough and Elizabeth Baughman; and one infant brother, George Baughman.

Casket bearers will be Ronnie Anson, Craig McCall, Curtis Reed, Kenneth Ball, James Ball, Clay Baughman, Donald Lightner and Kenny Lixer. Music will be by Pat Pendergrass and Scott Henderson.
