Myrtle Marie Bayliss, 72, died Saturday in a Tulsa hospital.

Graveside rites for Bayliss were to be held at 10:30 am Tuesday at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow under the direction of Moore Memory Chapel of Tulsa.

Bayliss was born August 23, 1921 in Muskogee to Henry and Myrtle Wingfield. She attended Cherokee Elementary at Turley and was of the Pentecostal faith. She also was a retired waitress.

She was preceded in death by husband Darwin D. Bayliss; sons Darwin R. and Buddy L. Bayliss; sister Mildred Carter and her parents Henry and Myrtle Wingfield.

She is survived by son Jimmy Bayliss of Tulsa; sister Opal Wanda Lee White of Oakland, Calif.; 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives at 512 E. Buffalo, Kellyville.
