TULSA — Josephine Bayouth, 68, Tulsa, died Tuesday. Services will be 10:30 am Friday at St. Antony’s Orthodox Christian Church, Tulsa. Trisagion will be 7:30 pm today at Moore’s Southlawn Chapel. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. She was born in Oilton and was a longtime Tulsa area resident. In 1946, Mrs. Bayouth married William S. Bayouth. Together she and her husband owned and operated the Bayouth Department Store in Jenks until 1970. Mr. Bayouth preceded her in death in 1983. Mrs. Bayouth later owned Josephine's, a ladies dress shop, at Southroads Mall, the Ladies Apparel Shop in Oertles and a maternity shop. Her retired in 1984. Since her retirement, she has helped her two sons who are in the restaurant business. William "Billy" Bayouth Jr. owns Billy’s on the Square, and Sol H. Bayouth II owns Peewee’s Burger Express. The brothers formerly owned and operated Hamburger Haven. Survivors include sons William Jr. and Sol H. II; brothers Floyd Andeel of San Diego, Calif., Edward Harroz, Nick Harroz and Joseph Harroz, all of Oklahoma City; and three sisters Frances Francis, Jenny Green and Mary Lou Hawkins, all of Oklahoma City.
