Cecil C. Bean, 88, Route 6, died Monday, March 6, 1995 at Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa.

Services will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at Smith Funeral Chapel. Smith Funeral Home will direct burial in South Heights Cemetery.

He was born Dec. 18, 1906 in Hot Springs, AR.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally, in 1977. He married Josie Belk on March 3, 1981.

He owned Bean’s Bakery and retired in 1968. He was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Josie, of the home; a son, Jim Bean, Sapulpa; three step-sons, Travis Belk and Pete Belk, both of Sapulpa, and Glen Belk, Bristow; two step-daughters, Barbara Jones and Donna Williams, both of Sapulpa; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Sally, he was preceded in death by a daughter, JoAnn Skeels in 1992.

The family will headquarter at the Donna Wilson residence west of Sapulpa.

Serving as casketbearers are Neal Whitley, Mike Cox, Ernie Johnson, Vern Spiller, Phillips Jones and Wayne Lynch. Honorary bearers were Ed Hopps, Richard Tankersley, Dean Hightower and Maynard Love.
