Updated: 06 Sep 2009 BEATTY, Carl WraySapulpa Herald, Creek Co., OK 08-03-1989 Carl Wray Beatty, 71, Kellyville, died Tuesday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center. Services are pending with Smith Funeral Home. Mr. Beatty was born Feb 2, 1918, in Minnesota. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1320. Mr. Beatty was employed as a machinist at Rockwell International for 26 years until his retirement in 1978. Survivors include wife Edith; three sons and one daughter in California, and two daughters and one son in Indiana; Step-daughter Frances Hendley and step-son Wayne Hendley of Oklahoma; one grandchild; and five great-grandchildren.
