TULSA — Former Sapulpan Mr. Hollis W. Birmingham, 62, of Tulsa died June 11 at St. John Medical Center, Tulsa.

Services are scheduled for 11 am Saturday at Lee and Walnut Church of Christ with L. S. Vincent officiating.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Sapulpa, under the direction of Mitchell’s Funeral Home.

Mr. Birmingham's body will lie in state at Mitchell’s Chapel prior to the service.

Casket bearers will be Henry Davison, Ronald Foshee, William Diggs, Lorell Davis, Ronnie Carter and Otha Thomas.

He moved from Sapulpa to Tulsa on year ago. He pastored the Church of Christ in Okmulgee for 10 years. He retired from the Big 4 Foundry, Tulsa, in 1982 after 35 years.

Survivors include wife Odessa; sons Harvey Wells of White Sands, N. M. and Fred Wells and Michael Birmingham, both of Tulsa; daughters Mary K. Bradford, Shirley Redd and Donna K. Chambers, all of Tulsa; sister Hazel Smith of Sapulpa; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, and nephews and cousins.
