Warren C. Bishop, 71, 1634 Maple Drive, died Saturday, June 17, 1995 at St. Francis Hospital.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Fort Gibson National Cemetery, directed by Owen Funeral Home.

He was born April 10, 1924 in Bradford, AR, to Ira L. and Leatha H. Bishop.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II. He lived in the area since 1956. He was a heavy equipment operator.

Survivors include three sons, Charles D. Bishop, California, Luther L. Bishop, Bryans Road, MD and Warren C. Bishop, Bakersfield, CA; two daughters, Lola H. Cummings, Emporia, KS, and Wanda K. Bishop, Kellyville; 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Carl R. Bishop, in 1973.

Casket bearers will be Gene Palmer, Ron Cummings, Danny Bishop, Jeff Radford, Craig Bishop and Randy Gibbs.

Funeral services for Warren C. Bishop, 71, 16134 Maple Drive, will be 10 am Wednesday at the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Reeves officiating.

Burial will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Fort Gibson National Cemetery, directed by Owen Funeral Home.

Honorary bearers will be Tom McCarty, Ross Bishop and Dale Bishop.
