Updated: 06 Sep 2009 ROBERTA BLACKBURN Roberta Joann Blackburn, 40, of Sand Springs, died Sunday at Saint John Medical Center in Tulsa. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Thursday at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Ulmont Blackburn, Herbert Wuerch and Paul Nichols officiating. Burial will follow at South Heights Cemetery. She was born Feb 14, 1951, in Sapulpa, and was a lifelong area resident. She was a 1969 graduate of Sapulpa High School and married Howard G. Blackburn June 5, 1969, in Sapulpa. Mrs. Blackburn was a member of the Sapulpa Church of God. Survivors include husband, Howard; parents Robert and Virginia Robertson of Sapulpa; daughter Katherine J. Stines of Sand Springs; sons Richard G. and Christopher S. Blackburn, both of Sapulpa; and brother Robert H. Robertson of Mounds. Burial followed at South Heights Cemetery. Casketbearers were Richard Reynolds, Randy Reynolds, Clay Morrow, Arlan Reynolds, Pat Jones and Chris Stines.
