Paul R. Blackburn, 55, of Sapulpa, died Sunday at Hillcrest Medical Center following a heart-related illness.

Services will be 2 pm Wednesday at Carbondale Bible Church, 2805 W. 48th, Tulsa, with the Rev. Walter Johnson officiating.

Burial will be at Memorial Park in Tulsa with arrangements by Health-Griffith Funeral Home of Tulsa.

Mr. Blackburn was born July 17, 1934, in Cushing. He was construction manager for FHC Inc. of Tulsa, was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean Conflict, had lived in Sapulpa for 20 years and was a member of Sapulpa Bible Church.

Survivors include his wife, Louise; son, Samuel D. Blackburn, Karen Hicks of Broken Arrow and Lu Anne McQuirk of Bryan, Texas; and brothers Charles Blackburn of Dallas And James Blackburn of Duncanville, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family has designated memorials to the Sapulpa Bible Church building fund, P.O. 365, Sapulpa, OK 74067.
