BRISTOW - Robert W. Blackstock, 65, of Bristow, died Thursday at his home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Saturday at First Baptist Church, Bristow.
Burial will follow at Bristow City Cemetery under the direction of Schumacher Funeral Home.
Mr. Blackstock was born Feb 28, 1927, in Drumright. He graduated from Drumright Public Schools and attended Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma.
He received a B.A. degree from OU in 1950 and a Juris Doctor degree from OU in 1951.
He was a World War II Pacific Theater veteran, serving on the U.S. Merchant Marine tanker S.S. Corinth and also served in the U.S. Air Force.
He was past president of Drumright High School and University of Oklahoma student bodies, Bristow Chamber of Commerce, Deep Fork Watershed Association, OU Alumni Association, Creek County Bar Association, Oklahoma Bar Association and Oklahoma Bar Foundation; trustee of Bristow Memorial Hospital Foundation and Oklahoma Bar Foundation; commander of Bristow American Legion Post; counselor of Boys State Legislature, member of House of Delegates, American and Oklahoma Bar Associations; chairman of OU's Law Center Board and chairman of the OBA's Law Schools Committee.
Survivors include wife, Elaine; sons Roger Brent Blackstock and Robert Keith Benjamin Blackstock; daughter Dr. Kathryn Ann Blackstock McNeeley; and brother Ben Blackstock of Edmond.
