Herbert W. Bleigh, 87, died Friday at Ranch Terrace Nursing Home in Sapulpa.

The body will lie in state until 10 am Tuesday. The casket will be closed at the service. Services are scheduled for Tuesday at 11 am in the Smith Funeral Chapel with Ed Yarger officiating.

Burial will follow at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

He was born September 18, 1905, in West Virginia. He was a retired oil field worker. He has been a Sapulpa resident since 1989 after moving here from Wewoka. He married Crystal Yarger October 19, 1926 in Pawhuska. He was a member of Southside Christian Church. He was preceded in death by two sons, Richard and Carl.

Survivors include his wife, Crystal of the home; a sister, Lucille DeVine of McKinney, Texas, and two grandsons.

Funeral services for Herbert Bleigh were held this morning at 11 at Smith Funeral Chapel with Ed Yarger officiating.
Burial followed at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Serving as casket bearers were Greg Bleigh, Kent Ausmus, Pressley Yarger, Larry Tibbetts, Glen Davis, Keith Yarger, Don Yarger and Jerry Fitspatrick.

Honorary casket bearers were Bill Stone and Troy Wiggins.

Mr. Bleigh, a resident of Sapulpa since 1989, died Friday.
