DRUMRIGHT – Mr. Robert E. Bonham, 81, Drumright, died Thursday at Drumright Nursing Home.

Services will be 10 am Monday at the First United Methodist Church in Drumright with the Rev. Robert Tupper officiating.

Burial will be at South Heights Cemetery, Sapulpa, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Drumright.

Mr. Bonham was born Feb 2, 1906, in Lima, Ohio, and was raised in the Sapulpa area. He was retired from Oklahoma Gas & Electric.

He was a member of the Drumright Masonic Lodge, First United Methodist church and was past president of the Drumright Lions Club.

He also was the first cub scout master in Drumright.

Survivors include wife Louvie; daughter Ila Maddux of Silver Lake, Kan.; sisters Mildred Heard of Bartlesville and Martha O’Leary of Sour Lake. Texas; step-brother William of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Robert, in 1983.
