MOUNDS — Andy Boone, 9-year-old son of Ricky and Kathy Boone of Mounds, died Sunday from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Clinton, MO.

Services are scheduled for 2 pm Friday at the Liberty-Mounds High School Gymnasium with the Revs. Walter Harris and Jimmy Goines officiating.

Burial will be in Duck Creek Cemetery under the direction of Leonard Funeral Home, Bixby.

He was born July 20, 1979, in Tulsa, was a student at Liberty-Mounds School and a little league baseball player.

In addition to his parents, survivors include brother Jarrod Boone of the home; sister Jestina Boone of the home; grandparents George and Barbara Boone of Mounds and B. J. and Roberta Richardson of Bixby; and great-grandparents Edith Dill and Lenora Boone, both of Mounds, Mr. and Mrs. Howell of Guthrie, and Mr. and Mrs. Richardson of Stilwell Okla.
