Paul W. Boren, 73, of Sapulpa, died Friday in Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Funeral arrangements are scheduled for 10 am Monday at Westside Freewill Baptist Church with the Revs. Millard McGuire and Ivan Lopes officiating.

Burial will follow Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

He was born July 14, 1919, in Kellyville. He married Evelyn Long March 18, 1939. He was an oilfield driller and lived in the Sapulpa area all his life. Boren was a member of Westside Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn of the home; sons, Clarence Jean, Bob and Scottie, all of Sapulpa, Charles of Baton Rouge, La; daughter, Sharen Kay Davis of Sapulpa; brothers, Lawrence of Bakersfield, Calif., Golden and Cecil of Visalia, Calif., Ted of Redding, Calif.; sisters, Addie Aller of Bristow, Janavee Miere of Bakerfield, Calif., Lottie Smith of Tulare, Calif., and Verde Webb of Visalia, Calif.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Paul W. Boren were held this morning at 10 am in the Westside Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Millard McGuire and Rev. Ivan Lopes officiating.

Burial followed at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Serving as casket bearers were Don Brumley, Doug Given, Phillip York, Charley Coatney, Wayne Beebe, and Frank Brumley.

Honorary bearers were Junior McGurie, Elmer Little, Plas Gibbs, and Frank Childress.

Mr. Boren, a lifelong area resident, died Friday at the Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.
