Lula Carter Brackett, 100, Sapulpa, died Friday, May 26, 1995 at Ranch Terrace Nursing Center.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Green Hill Chapel with the Rev. Ivan Lopez officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens, directed by Owen Funeral Home.

She was born Oct. 28, 1894 in Revenia, Texas, to James and Jennie Brown Carter.

She married Ira Brackett in Bonham, Texas.

She worked for Sunshine Laundry in Sapulpa until she retired. She moved to Sapulpa since 1932 from Bennington. She was a member of South Heights Baptist Church.

She is survived by three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira, in 1968; two daughters, Geneva Dunigan in 1982 and Allene Pilant in 1942.

Casket bearers will be Fred Mauch, Leon Shadowens, J.B. Ussury, Fred Whitehead, Vern Spiller and Earl Church.

The family will headquarter at 1001 S. Water St., Sapulpa. Owen Funeral Home directed arrangements.
