MESA, Ariz - Services for former Sapulpa resident Vesta Ruth Bragg, 85, Apache Junction, Ariz., were held Jan 18, at Mountain View Mortuary, Mesa.

Mrs. Bragg died Jan. 14, at Apache Junction Health Center.

She was born Dec. 25, 1902, in Missouri, and moved to Arizona in 1963.

She worked as a waitress and a housekeeper. She attended the First Baptist Church of Apache Junction.

Survivors include step-son Paul E. of Texas, and Kenneth W. of Sapulpa; step-daughters Nellie Cochran of Burbank, Calif., and Evelyn Johnson of Carson City, Nev.; sister Ida Cox of Picher, Okla.; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
