MOUNDS — Mr. Raymond K. Branson, 62, Mounds, died Friday at St. John Medical Center, Tulsa. 

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Kiefer First Baptist Church with the Rev. Rex HeCox officiating. 

Burial will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. 

Mr. Branson was born July 29, 1924, in Tulsa. He had been a Mounds resident since 1979, moving there from Warner Okla. He was a retired Baptist minister and Mounds Public Schools teacher. He was an Army Air corps veteran of World War II and a graduate of Oklahoma State University. 

Survivors include wife Joan, mother Sadie of Tulsa; son Kenneth of Shawnee, Okla.; daughters Connie Hester of Odessa, Texas, Kathi Jo Dunn of Rosewell, NM, and Karla Kay Wallis of Porum Landing, Okla.; brother Lester of Tulsa, four grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.
