William H. (Bill) Brewer, 79, Sapulpa, died Friday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 am Tuesday at the First Christian Church with the Revs. Gerald Rendell and Russell Casey officiating.

Burial will follow in South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Brewer was born March 15, 1911, in Gion, Ark., and married his wife Blanche on March 12, 1930, in Jenks. He worked in the oil fields for Golf Oil Company for more then 42 years and moved to Sapulpa from Kiefer 38 years ago.

He was a member of the First Christian Church.

Survivors include wife Blanche; sons Howard E. Brewer of Santa Ana, Calif., and Bill P. Brewer of Tulsa; daughters Mary Hurn of Tulsa and Grace McCormick of Sapulpa; brother Joe Brewer of Bixby; sister Mary Marlow of Bixby; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two grandchildren.

The family will headquarter in John McCormick home, 1702 E. Timberton Road.

Funeral services for William Howard (Bill) Brewer were held today at First Christian Church with the Revs. Gerald Rendell and Russell Casey officiating.

Burial followed at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Casketbearers were Bill Childers, Lloyd Fulks, Keneth Yarger, Ed Yarger, Jim Brown and Clark Waggoner.

Mr. Brewer, a Sapulpa resident for the past 38 years, died Friday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.
