ARTHUR BROCHU

TULSA—Arthur J. Brochu, 85, of Route 13, Tulsa, died Monday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Catherine Catholic Church, located at 46th St. and 27th W. Ave., Tulsa, with the Rev. Alvin Herber officiating.

Mr. Brochu’s body will lie in state at the funeral home and the casket will be open at the church from 10 a.m. Wednesday until time for the services to begin.

Mr. Brochu was born Aug. 28, 1903, in Rochester, N.H., and married his wife, May, Sept. 19, 1932, in Worcester, Mass.

He served the Army during World War II and was employed as a truck driver for New England Power in Massachusetts until his retirement.

Mr. Brochu moved to this area in 1979. He was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church, American Veterans and the Men’s Club of the Church.

Survivors include wife May; sons William A. of Florida and Arthur J. Jr. Of Massachusetts; daughter Anita J. Hailey of Tulsa; brother the Rev. Albert Brochu of New York; sisters Marie Ross, Arlene Mitchell and Sister Anita Brochu, C.S.U., all of New Hampshire; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
