Ruth A. Brooner, 75, Tomah, Wisc., died Monday, Aug 14, at Tomah Care Center.

Services will be 4:30 pm Wednesday at White Funeral Home in Tomah with the Rev. Dale Klitzke officiating. Visitation will follow the service until 8 p.m. Wednesday. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Green Hills Memorial Gardens, directed by Smith Funeral Home.

She was born April 23, 1920 in Lemmon, South Dakota, to William and Letha Sylvester Meuret.

She married Lester Harley Brooner on June 7, 1947.

Survivors include a son, Mark Brooner, Tomah; five daughters, Letha Hibbard, Detroit, Mich., Karen Goff, Barron, Wisc., Leslie Peterson, Camp Douglas, Wisc., Carol Van Swol, Monroe, Wisc., and Joyce Sutterfield, Sapulpa; three brothers, George Meuret, Rice Lake, Wisc., Melvin Meuret, Oakdale, Wisc., and Robert Meuret, Tomah; a sister, Dee Meger, Camp Douglas; 25 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, Norman.

Funeral services for Ruth A. Brooner were scheduled for 1 pm today in the Green Hills Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Archie Rivers officiating. 

Burial will be in Green Hills Memorial Gardens, directed by Smith Funeral Home.
