BROWN

BIXBY—Mr. James Robert Brown, 70, Bixby, died Friday at Muskogee Veterans Hospital

Prayer service is scheduled for 7 tonight at Owen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jonas Partridge officiating. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel with the Rev. Roy Bigpond officiating.

Burial will be at South Heights Cemetery.

Mr. Brown was born Feb. 20, 1917, in Sapulpa. He was a disabled Army veteran of World War II and a member of Pickett Indian Methodist church.

He had lived in Bixby since 1961.

Survivors include brother Benjamin of Bixby; and sisters Ruth Gibson of Mounds, Cilla Yowell of Bristow and Gertrude John of Sapulpa.

The Family will headquarter at the home of Gertrude John, 1100 S. Park.

Services for James R. Brown were today at Owen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Roy Bigpond officiating.

Burial was at South Heights Cemetery.

Casket bearers were Russell Hill, Howard Holloway, Arnold Gibson, Tommy Tiger, Kevin Tiger and Paul Tiger Jr.

Honorary bearers were Paul Tiger, Kenneth tiger, Darrel Tiger, William Gibson, Robert Tiger, Luther Tiger, Michael Hammer and Cecil Tiger.

Mr. Brown, who moved south of Bixby from Sapulpa in 1961, died Friday at the Veterans Hospital, Muskogee.
