HELEN F. BRUCE

Helen F. Bruce, 84, 15 N. Oak, died today at home.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Larry Cowan officiating.

Burial will be in South Heights Cemetery.

She was born June 20, 1904, in Creek County, Indian Territory, and had lived in this area all her life.

Mrs. Bruce was a member of Linden Street Christian church, Disciple of Christ, the Naomi Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, and Sapulpa Amaranth. She was a past matron of the Naomi chapter and a past royal matron of the Amaranth.

She had worked for Getty Oil Co. and the Creek County Treasurer’s office. Mrs. Bruce was preceded in death by her husband, Grant.

Survivors include her niece, Wanda Thomas of Nevada.
