Richard H. Brumley, Jr., 70, of Nowata, died Sunday at the Jane Phillips Nowata Health Center in Nowata.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 am Wednesday, at First Christian Church in Nowata with Rev. G. M. McHarg officiating.

Burial will follow at Nowata Memorial Park cemetery under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Service of Nowata.

He was born June 12, 1922, in St. Louis, Mo., to Richard H. Brumley, Sr., and Eleanor Koch Brumley. A longtime resident of Oklahoma, he lived in several cities, including Sapulpa and Seminole before moving to Nowata in 1965.

He was a member of the Nowata First Church of God.

Survivors include a brother, Tony Brumley of Broken Arrow; sister, Helen Huey of Nowata; several nephews and a niece.
