NEAL BUIE
BRISTOW— Neal Buie, 82, Bristow, died Wednesday at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Hutchins-Maples funeral Chapel, Bristow,
with the Rev William Peck officiating.
Burial will be at Bristow City
Cemetery.
He was born Dec. 27, 1906, in Pauls Valley, Okla. He married Lura Haven on May
19, 1932, and later resided in Bristow.
Mr. Buie was Creek County’s first game ranger. He also was a barber.
He was a member of the Oddfellows Hall in Bristow and the Bristow Gospel
Tabernacle.
Survivors include wife Lura; sons Richard Buie of Bristow and Donald Buie of
Sapulpa; daughter Bonnie Wasson of Moore, Okla.; half-brother Floyd Standley of
Harrison, Ark.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
