BIG SPRING (Special) - Graveside services for Vernis Rose Burns, 70, of Big Spring will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Trinity Memorial Park with the Rev. Gary Hubbard, chaplain of Family Hospice, officiating.

Burial will be under direction of Myers & Smith Funeral Home.

She died Friday, Oct. 3, 1997, at her residence.

She was born Sept. 29, 1927, in Oilton, Okla. She moved to Big Spring from DeSoto in 1992. She was a district clerk for Andrews County for 12 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Pamela Meadows of Spotsylvania, Va.; a sister, Zeanna McWhirt of Big Spring; and three grandchildren
