Alton Leo Byrd, 81, died Saturday, March 11, 1995 in Sapulpa.

Services were Tuesday at Faith Tabernacle with the Rev. H.G. Evans officiating. Burial was in Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Sapulpa, directed by Mark Griffith Memorial Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel in Sand Springs.

He was born Oct. 2, 1913 in Bromide.

Survivors include his wife, Lillie Byrd of the home; two daughters, Betty Catherine Byrd and Bernice Byrd, Both of Pauls Valley; a step-daughter, Jeanette Jackson, Pauls Valley; a brother, Fred Byrd of Chowchilla, Calif.; a sister, Viola Barber, Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
