Jewel (Mrs. O. W.) Canfield, 84, of Sapulpa, died Tuesday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Hurchins-Maples Funeral Chapel in Bristow with the Rev. Sammy Lowe officiating.
Burial will be at Bristow City
Cemetery.
She was born May 20, 1906, in Leadhill, Ark., and attended schools in Tuskegg, Okla. She married Orval Wilfred Canfield Feb. 13, 1929.
The family lived on a farm west of Kellyville until the early 1970’s when they moved to Sapulpa. She lived with her daughter, Pauline White, in Sapulpa the last 1 ½ years.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband in April 1978.
Survivors include sons Chester R. Canfield of Albuquerque, N.M., Wilfred Lee Canfield of Sapulpa and Harold O. Canfield of Bristow; daughters Anna Mae Simpson of Mannford, Luella Brewer of Booneville, Ark., and Eula Faye Deffenbaugh and Pauline White, both of Sapulpa; 23 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.
